Neighbourhood of Eraclea

At the neighbourhood of Eraclea you will find the following council: Jesolo, San Donà di Piave, Torre di Mosto and Caorle.

Jesolo is a warm and a welcoming seaside, especially during the summer time. The beaches of Jesolo are situated in Lido di Jesolo. This beach is characterized by the golden dolomite sands. Here it is possible practice all kinds of sports, such as: wind-surfing, sailing, beach-volley, etc. This is all you need to spend a wonderful holiday.
San Donà di Piave is one of the oldest cities in the region of Veneto. Piave is one of the major and oldest river in north Italy. It begins in the Alps and flows southeast into the Adriatic Sea near the city of  art: Venice.

This river in 1918 was the scene of the Battle between the last major Austro-Hungarian and Italian Front. Italian victory caused the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian army.
Caorle is a coastal town in the province of the most famous city in the region of Veneto: Venice. It is situated between estuaries of Lemene and Livenza.
Caorle is a very famous seaside, thanks to its historical monument and churches, such as: St. Stephen Cathedral and Blessed Virgin of the Angel church, use and costume and its national and international tourism.
The council of Eraclea is divide in the following way: Brian, Ca' Turcata, Ponte Crepaldo, Cittanova, Stretti, Torre di Fine, Val Casoni, Eraclea Mare.

The principal tourist resort nearby Eraclea

The principal tourist resort nearby Eraclea are situated in the north on the coastal: Caorle and Bibione, instead toward south we find: Jesolo, Cavallino and Chioggia.
Caorle is a wonderful small city situated near the coast of the Adriatic Sea and in all the season it fills up with tourists. The old town centre is still charaterized by a little Venetian angle, with its coloured and artistic houses, "calli" and "campielli". In summer there are many possibilities of playing, sunbathing for families in the long beach made of golden sands and also in the Venitian lagoon, where arise many characteristic that in italian it is called "casoni", the huts where fishermen live in the winter season for fishing.

Also Cavallino is a small town situated near the coast of the Venitian Lagoon. During the summer in Cavallino come a lot of tourists that come from all over the world. The beach of Cavallino is the big one in all the province of Venice. Here you can also find many recptive structures, such as: residence, hotel, camping-site, room, appartaments, etc.
The coastal city of Chioggia is a miniature version of Venice with the characteristic narrow streets known as calli and canals. The most important canal is Canale Vena. In the centre of Chioggia there are several medieval churches,such as the most important is the church of S. Maria, that it was founded in the eleventh century and then was rebuilt in 1623 by Baldassare Longhena.
